great thread, i'd rep you but i think i did it recently.
anyway, a couple of suggested additions:
1. sound proofing. all of those blower noises are a dead give away coming from a closet, box or shed. location can help (ie near house mechanicals) as well as insulation or mufflers.
2. don't grow in your parents house - grow outside if you still live at home

Keep your nose clean in the outside world.....
Dont give the police any exscuse to come round. So if you get in fights etc stop that shit. Police could come round to ask questions or an enemy could turn up and cause a scene at your place......
Alot of grows seem to get caught because of fire, seems commen sense but dont use shitty wire to hang your lights, check for leaks on your res, is that feeder pushing some water out somewhere etc
Not sure about the US but in England things like boilers need to be checked periodically. So if your grows in your closet check the boiler history out... you dont need your land lord ringing you when youve got some mature plants...
Pay your electric bill on time.....
Dont smoke weed outside or around your property
