It was a bit more complicated than a joke, but yes I was defensive. Mainly, I felt it was none of your business and you had subjective reasons for coming after me at that moment. You may recall I defended someone you were attacking, and only then, did you have issue w my words from several wks/mos earlier.

yes, i threatened to be a troll indefinitely, which was admittedly juvenile - it's actually what your two friends are doing to me now. funny you want-to-think I'm baiting them when it's actually the other way around, which they both know.

my effort didn't last long, I ran out of steam, started to realize my folly and you successfully foiled me, No!?

One objective reason was that you fancied yourself a racial justice warrior, and lied about your race while attacking others.

I am a social justice warrior and will always be.
The rest started in the flat earth thread while I was fkn w mellowman. That was another mistake, to carry on w that after you cornered me w that. I don't plan on saying anything else about that. I attacked you, not others in that context, which I've now apologized for .

It's 4:19 am here and I have one more appt before sleepy time . If there is more, which I have a feeling there is, it'll be another day .

Any good you think you do as a racial justice warrior is misplaced. Particularly when you lie about your race/ethnicity while doing it. In a deliberate attempt to give your indignation more credence. That pisses me off.
