FFOF - How did I know - lol
That's a good soil but, over time I've found (and many others too) that FFOF is a bit light on the Ca and Mg in it.
I like to throw a 1/2 cup of Dolomite lime in per bag - mix well and then run it.
Dr who, what do u recommend I do? My girls are about a week into flower.
These are very savable! Start by pHing everything (waterings and feedings) that goes into the pots to a pH of 7 for 5 days and then reduce to 6.7 and run them out.
First, let the pots dry to the touch - down about a good inch to inch and a half and/or they feel "light" when you pick them up!
Water when the pots are like this from now on!
Now for those 5 days of pH 7. No nutrients! USE a Ca/Mg that is based on Calcium carbonate and not Calcium Nitrate. The reason is, I want a better pH buffer in the soil your using. The Ca carbonate will be used by the plant just fine and it does better at buffering ... I liked G&H CALiMAGic when I did synthetic. Do this every time you water!
At the end of those 5 days go right back to a veg nute and don't change to a bloom nutrient till week 3. At that point mix veg and bloom nutes at a 1:1 ratio (50/50) when you make your feed solution and use that for 1 week. So then at week 4, you go to 100% bloom feeding...
Good luck!
