LED 95% Quaility light 1000 watt HPS 30% Quality Light ?

Do a life cycle cost analysis and COB LED is already less expensive- and that's not taking better quality into account at all, which I assure you means a great deal to their bottom line.

Have you ever actually done this, or are you just assuming this is the answer someone will come to if they do it?

Theres a lot of factors that go into it... in particular, individual's needs.

Man, I was being pretty sincere. I don't think being "American Jerry" is going to be a successful business model. Especially since his advertising seems to consist of "Yo PM me I got great prices" when he isn't too busy ranting about Skype and trolls. It's just really fucking weird.

Editing, because it's impossible not to add this:
Still being tested but and Jerry will be sending some out as samples and of course I'll buy all his stock up @JorgeGonzales that's how business works I'll buy all of them up lol because the supply will be limited.
He is going to corner the Jerry market, because that's how business works. So yeah, my reply was serious. It is not cheap to stock parts, and profits are small when you do sell them.

I've grown with a Gavita 1000W Pro and now Cree COBs. I get about 30% more yield from the same amount of electricity with these COBs. Those COBs are well over a year old though and current top bin COBs are already 12% more efficient. I have much less heat issues with these COBs too due to the much lower amounts of radiant heat.

lol really at 3ft away from the plant says enough for me. You haven't a clue about what I'm about to do hahaha. Just look at the HPS graveyard

You feelin charitable? I could use some of those HID lights if you are going to trash them, or if you feelin real generous I could really use a COB light to replace a HID light but I can't afford.

Hahaha you forget Jerry wanted me to do this and I agreed and wasn't I the one who directed people to Jerry and a lot of people don't want to pay the extra shipping from China and it is expensive to stock parts when you have to pay shipping on a 100 pin heat sinks and 30 drivers the cobs are cheap to send because they are light. it's like only $35 instead of $450 for the heavy stuff.

Can you share with us which "company" is having the testing done and where the results will be found once complete? ;)
Once I get both party's approval, i will definitely share the #s and companies involved.

So far is looking like top bin cxb 3590 in 3000,3500,4000k flavors being tested , with and without reflectors(bare).......mw driver (45w per cob?) passive pin sinks

We've all been waiting for this for a long time........soooo I don't want to get anyones hopes up, I'll know next week for sure.....

That guy got RIPPED off so badly, those helio's are overpriced outdated LEDs they still using mono's and they want like almost 2 grand for each one and they only cover a 2x2 area, fuckin pathetic.
Biggest factor in yield is the area you can grow in
Maybe I should have been a bit more specific about the point I was trying to make, you say LED is useless for commercial growing while this guy is doubling his harvest in the same space by using a double tier system, thanks to LED.

Yes Heliospectra is nearly as rubbish as your ability to put my reply in context to your quotes I responded to ,so instead you jump to the obvious short sighted response.
Your claim on price of LED's isn't valid if you plan on growing for the long run.

LEDs make a tiny footprint
So imagine you use that double tier system with COB's spread out to alleviate the small foot print issue.

So you think the move from HPS to LED was wise? If the yield goes up and the heat and power go down it seems like a no trainer. It seems like most of the cob /led set ups are for smaller grows I am looking to do a 12x16 and would appreciate your advise and experience with a larger room. Thanks

Just curious how big of a space are you talking and how many gavita's did you replace? Thanks one more thing how much less cooling did you require?

If you put a gavita at 1 inch your plant would get nuked from light intensity, you guys are hilarious please do better comparisons than that.
To be fair they are comparing a shit led to the bronze winner in growing... Not even a fair comparison.. But op would know that if he knew cobs and the results behind all of those lights. Also I'm pretty sure ' is a foot mark not inches.
