How far should my lights be from my plants?

I have two Apollo Horticulture 300 watt led lights. I've had them hanging about 3 feet from my plants but I was feeling like they were too far so I just moved them closer. Now they are 2 feet away. My plants have had leaves 5 days. Don't know if age has anything to do with light distance. Thank you!

2 feets good for now, watch them, if they start stretching lowering it a few inches

It all depends on the light I have a kind xl1000 and a cob led I built either one too close will start to bleach the leaves.

Your fine, when they get a few more nodes move the light down to 17-21" from the tops of the canopy, tiny seedlings don't need much light yet
