Anyone else need some rain!?!

Central NY certainly does! Besides the lack of rain been an ideal year here. These are the four I've got out this year. Unknown genetics, just found a few good seeds throughout last year. How's everyone year so far?

I could have used it last month. It has rained everyday for the last week here in NW Florida. With another week's worth on the way. I ain't going to bitch though, not until 7-8 weeks from now if it's still doing it.

Yes small bits are nice. It's been 2 months since we've had any significant rain here. That grow is tucked in on a creek bed that would normally be to wet to be considered. I think the smart pots are drawing water from the ground still thankfully. So I'm only forced to carry water every 2-3 days. Good luck to all with the rest of the year

No we dont require any more rain for the rest of the year but still at least 1.5 months left of rainy season so sure we'll get much more

Yup. In Toronto and same situation - no significant rain since May. Everything is dormant and brown here and I'm feeling for those farmers.

My rock garden is loving it and my grow is in the backyard so no lugging of water, but I've resorted to filling the rain barrel with the hose and waiting a few days for the water to dechlorinate. First-world water problems.

Same here in the North Country of NY. I am growing an Aurora Indica from Nirvana, one Cream Caramel from Blimburn, and the other was supposed to be an Aurora Indica, but I think either the Single Seed Company sent me the wrong seed or I mixed it up with a Maui Wowie, which if is the case, I hope it has time to finish. That plant is a sativa dominant for sure, it is about 7 feet tall with the typical Xmas tree shape, and super stinky!
The Aurora Indica is a short, stout Indica with fat ass fan leaves and very dark green color. It is showing sex but seems flowering is delayed, this is supposed to be a fast budding baby, but I don't know, no significant buds yet.
The Cream Caramel is finally starting to bud, again delayed, but she is stinky as well. She is supposed to be Indica Dominant but she looks more like a sativa to me.
I have been watering every four to five days, with temps in the high 80's to 90 they are super thirsty and ready for a drink when I arrive. I use rainwater that is caught in a 50 gallon drum, but since it hasn't rained, I have resorted to our well water, which is good ph wise.
I can post some pics, maybe start a journal, but for only three plants I may just post bud pics when they are getting fat!
I really don't mind if it doesn't rain, these plants are in pots in a marsh and they have sent roots down into the soil below. I have fertilized during veg with Alaska Fish Fertilizer, and I just gave them a flowering fert from dynagrow two waterings ago. I hope the temps stay warm through September and into October, especially with two sativa's needing time!

Yes a good October will be much appreciated! 3 out of four appear to be a good mix and the shortest and bushiest seems to lean more toward sativa. Got a few clones from that hopefully be able to breed with a GSC male. All have started flowering and will need until mid October. Fingers crossed

Nice, any amount of rain is great this year. I read your whole thread over the other day. Appears you are having a good year so far as well. Hopefully this summer keeps on going into October. Keep in touch

I'm tucked away in the foothills between the Adirondacks and Vermont. Went from about 3 weeks of the pots being constantly soaked to a 2 week dry spell.
Not complaining though, just another year of dealing with whatever mother nature throws our way. Best of luck to all of you who get it done in the great outdoors. :leaf:
