Nah that's fine as long as u got fresh air going in once in while during day etcWondering if I should have a fan on my hanging buds or not? They're in a dark room with a small USB fan about 5 feet away, just enough to move them a bit and keep the air circulating
Anything wrong with that?
10-14 days seems a little excessive unless u have massive buds. It's only a few small ones from an autoflower. Already trimmed tooNah that's fine as long as u got fresh air going in once in while during day etc
Dry for around 10-14days.with everything on for first 7 days leafs and all don't trim till last day
I just updated my post pulled 10oz on 2plants from unknow weed bag seeds
Oh OK well most research say 10-14days minimum ... And from my experience 10days at least to rid of chlorophyll before place in jar10-14 days seems a little excessive unless u have massive buds. It's only a few small ones from an autoflower. Already trimmed too
are you using a humidity meter and a thermometer? the bad thing about a fan is they move dust and lint over the buds and it all sticks to the buds so you get to smoke it. if you have a small amount of buds a box is easier to control h and temp, 50% H, 75'. reinventing the wheel is always fun good luck.Wondering if I should have a fan on my hanging buds or not? What do you use?You guys are old school drying method..thats cool just a waste of time tho
...what is a broveda pak? Is it like damp-rid? What temp and RH do you prefer, or does it not matter? Curious cause am going to actually grab one of those racks soon for mid to late Sept. (approx...thats the 90 day range, not the seedbank's claims). Does "sweating" mean you want it warm / hot in the jar for 8 hrs?Wet trim and take buds off stem, 5 tier mesh rack, dry for 3 days, sweat in jar for8 hrs, back out on dry rack if needed then to jar till smell pops. Pop jar every 12 hrs with added broveda pack

O.K. thanks looks pretty cool what RH should u order?
62's are good. I dont even check humidity in the dry room. I do cop a feel on the buds in the morning and at night to see where they are at in the dryingprocessO.K. thanks looks pretty cool what RH should u order?
I hate when it rains when im trimming, means a extra day or 2 to dry. I make sure the plant is pretty bone dry before I chop her, helps dry faster too...plus i dont like getting squirted in the eyeUsual dry time for me in Australia, 5 too 8 days

Thanks, much appreciated! So... what is it you mean by sweating, exactly...?62's are good. I dont even check humidity in the dry room. I do cop a feel on the buds in the morning and at night to see where they are at in the dryingprocess
After you dry you put the weed in a jar, and it "sweats", so you open the jar every few hours for the first couple days so it can let off excess moisture. Thanks, much appreciated! So... what is it you mean by sweating, exactly...?
