I feel your pain lolI wish! I should really look into a pump this year, hauling water by 5g pales sucks.
even at 56 years old I still can dig a well out in the bush pretty quick for a old fart tomorrow ill set up water tarps and pump them full and there will be plenty for the season so 2 days and the water is secured for the dry spell when the swamps dry up when ya need it the most got the solar panels, batterys, pumps and hose going to be put to work and it makes watering the rest the season real easy by just using a garden hose and sprayer set up no carrying buckets for this old man hahahaGetting it done getaway...!!
I must say u have insprided me ,not easy to do I up potted 25 plants from 1 gal witch I planned to hole them 10 more days, went to 3 gal letem rip.i will be swereing ya name carrying them in.even at 56 years old I still can dig a well out in the bush pretty quick for a old fart tomorrow ill set up water tarps and pump them full and there will be plenty for the season so 2 days and the water is secured for the dry spell when the swamps dry up when ya need it the most got the solar panels, batterys, pumps and hose going to be put to work and it makes watering the rest the season real easy by just using a garden hose and sprayer set up no carrying buckets for this old man hahaha
Come on gtm tell them about the good part of the story, when you got to the fruit check!I drove 8 tons ( 60 barrels) of seaweed from maine to California in u haul to make a 8000 gallon batch of juice
I gave up on that a few years ago. Smaller tubing takes longer to pump the water but this height you can lift the water goes up quite a bit every time you reduce the pipe size. You also save money on long runs using smaller diameter poly hose.I feel your pain lol
we use the big pump (4000 gal /hr ) with 2inch hose for pump from swamp/wells to the water tarps and then use the smaller pump ( 1000 gal/hr ) to pump from tarps to water plants and we have solar panels to charge batteries all season in the bush . got the greenhouse organized for what is going and what is stayingI gave up on that a few years ago. that big pump will pump water 300 ft uphill at a 20 -30 degree incline with no problem the first 50 ft is 2 inch then I reduce it down to garden size hose and have plenty pressure for pumping ,pumps about what a faucet does for flow and for real steep hills I just go at angles that makes it easier to pump but it will pump it
haha hamiltons marine supply yathink hamlins gotem?
