Stuck in KS for now...

hello everyone,
I am living in KS, the most backward state as far a MJ is concerned. Not even medical MJ here. grrrr.

But I am moving to Oregon in June and I can't wait to start medicating, and getting high just for the seer enjoyment of it. I haven't had any MJ for about 27 years and I am looking forward to being high again, whenever I damn well please.

I am currently drugging myself up with OTC pain killers and sleeping pills so I can sleep at night ... due to freaking fibromyalgia and back issues. Hopefully my organs will hold out till I move to the legal state. I have lived in KS for over 2 years and this place sucks. Nothing going on here. Can't wait to be a more progressive and beautiful place.

I have been learning all about Oregon's cannabis legalization and rules, and having my mind blown open by the healing properties of cannabis. I had no idea, even though I used it in my youth to stop my horrible cramps, I never thought of it as medicinal.

I just can't wait!!! :wall: I just want June to be here now and me be in Oregon NOW. :!:

Yes, CO is next door. But it's still a 7 hour drive from where I live (topeka) to the nearest county that allows MJ sales. Not all counties in CO allow sales and none on the eastern side of the state do. You have to travel into the center of the state to find MJ friendly counties. And i can't bring any back anyway, since KS patrols are stopping people coming out of CO and searching their cars for cannabis.

So many uptight aholes. We've got a long way to go before MJ is really legal, everywhere.
