2 parts composted pine bark
1 part peat
Add 1cup of lime to each pot (3 gal pots,, adjust to your size pot/hole )
Add your favorite fertiliser

Not really .... You can be very liberal with dlime.. Unless you apply a really huge ammount like double didgit percentages
if you are doing alright at that rate then that's cool man.
But a cup per 3 gallons I think would cause problems in my mix.
but we are using totally different stuff though
that's cool it isn't causing any calcium or phosphorus uptake
but I imagine pine bark and peat is gonna be REAL low in ph, so that d-lime is countering it

Pretty much yeah.. Plus we have pretty acidic earth in my parts.. its really hard to overdo lime but its worth noting that i put the medium in the ground so leaching affects will eventualy make the mix acidic compared to pots
