It's entirely possible Mexican growers are growing various Mexican Landrace strains, South American landrace, or hybrids of landraces or even straight up Dutch/Canadian/American genetics.

You are so far off the topic it's hilarious. Just because you believe the growers use 7000 strains for commercial purposes doesn't make you right. I've way more experience growing that you and I can tell you first hand anytime I grew a brown brick weed seeds it always came out the same. Sometimes i ran into a different strain but usually it was always the same. smell, same taste, same look, same everything over different years and different batches of seed. So that must mean it's the same weed. Anybody with half a brain could figure this out. I'm not saying Mexicans growers only grow one type of weed what I am trying to say is they use one main strain for their commercial purposes. All weed strains smell different taste different and look different. So if I've grown many different bag seeds over multiple years all that I know are from different batches and it all looks the same, taste the same and smells the same it clearly must be the same strain of ganja.

This has gotta be a kid... Never once have I grew Reggie seeds and they all look exactly the same. I do believe they have passed down landraces bred for decades or more within familys or cartels though which can produce some nice stuff if you get lucky but mainly its all hermed, stressed out nasty looking plants. Hence stress weed aka reggie... I remember reading about THC content of regular brick weed and it said it was averaging 8-9%

I am getting some seeds from Eskobar seed breeder, called Jalisco. They are from a town called Mascotta which is in Jalisco. Any idea if these are what your relatives grow? Supposed to be good. Also Oaxacan from Eskobar, which is really famed pot. Jarilla from Cannabiogen is coming too which is from Sinaloa.

They keep the best pot to themselves I think. The cartels have really ruined it for growing now. The growers have to deal with cops and cartels and the old strains tended to take longer to grow so they have gotten rid of most of them.

He likely has lived in the same area most of his life given he's maybe in his late teens. Probably the same dealer or source anyway. Probably never grown a plant.

How do you even know your smoking Mexican weed?? Jamaicans, Columbians even Africans get their brick weed to the US. To say all brick weed is the same is pretty fucking stupid I've had plenty different brick and one that was actually pretty good but they are all different. If you buy from the same guy it's likely he buys from the same cartel whether Columbian Mexican whatever so it is possible you always get the same. Just look at heroin out west they have Mexican black tar mostly east coast we get mostly Columbian #4 now a lot of synthetic but the Mexicans don't control the country I never even met a Mexican in New England plenty Latinos though mostly from islands.

Then you got regional strains for landraces and many have hybrids because they are quicker and better yielding. All depends on the cartel and their reach they got territory which is why Columbian heroin is damn near the only heroin on the east coast and Mexico and Columbia have different cartels. The possibility of your brick being Mexican is not that big unless you live near Mexico. Making Donald Trump a joke cause we need a wall on the ocean. Lol

I've grown them out on a few occasions, I wouldn't call it straight fire. Every time I have grown it out, it's basically real nice mid-grade. I'm yet to find a "fire" pheno from regs seed.
