With cxa3070 you still need to run in parallel with hlg185h-36. You can run as many as you like on that driver. You can run as many vero29 as well. With parallel setup you take the current of that driver which is 5.2 amps and divide it amongst the cobs. So if running 4 it's 1.3 amps. If you want to use c spec drivers and run cobs in series you can only fit 3 cxa3070 or 3 vero 29 on the driver.If you plan to run 4 Vero 29 on that driver wait for another response as to if it will work well or not.
I know with the Cree drivers the VF is lower, and will work.
This is why I changed my mind from the Vero 29 to the CXA3070 AB x 4
You need to know the vf of the cob you are considering at the current you are looking at. In the case of cxa3070 and vero29 the total voltage will be to high to fit hlg-185hc1400b. The c spec massages the difference here. Don't get the drivers confused they are different.
