When supersoil runs outta juice too early...???

I've been through a few grows with supersoil & I like the whole idea but a lot of times the soil runs out of juice on most strains. I know a lot of factors could be in play but what I wanna know from everyone is when this happens what do YOU do? If it's nutrients what kind do you use & what brands are best for adding to supersoil?

Make a tea with all of the left over amendments. I did the whole super soil and i found it more and i mean way more cost effective to do a tea every week. I stopped making super soil and just mixed my all my amendments into a 5 gal bucket with a strainer an air pump and used molasses to gwt it going.

Use bigger pots most people running no till is in 10 gal min. Few poss problems... Your pots are to small, you don't have worms working for you. You don't top dress and or water to much and wash away everything

I use 11.5 pots so ..?? I also use the OG tea from start to finish but I know the OG tea doesn't have much nutes. When I used 5.5 gallon pots there wasn't much difference in the time when it ran out of power. Usually it's around 4 weeks in bloom when it starts showing signs of yellowing leaves. If I top dress, how often do I do that & when should I start?

I agree, but I'd be a bit more careful about the ingredient mix. If you don't want to mess with mixing your own organic tea, try going to Kelp4less.com adn score some compost tea starter, molasses and Ripe Blend. Foliar feed with very light mixture of soluble kelp and a little molasses.

Bat guano once or twice a week seems to be working for me. This is a nirvana strain. Crystal. Its a N.L. x W.W cross 81 days flowering

I bought one of those TGA super soil packs & I have half of that left. Can I just make teas out of that & maybe add molasses? Also how many times do you use teas to watering?

I've never used the TGA Soil Packs. I'd probably just keep it for the next batch of soil, or use as a top dressing. I use a tea EVERY TIME I water...works almost like a hydro system, constantly keeping roots moist with a very light nutrient tea. Difference is, unlike hydro, my tea is full of microbial activity and constantly builds a healthy bio system in my soil mix.

amend your mix differently, don't layer your soil, don't use water soluble nutrients.
Research using a different approach, supersoil is an outdated and illogical method

I dont layer anything. I havent used any liquid nuts.Interesting. So if you dont use ss please explain your process...??? I am on the 4th week of bloom & have started a tea regimen. Not gonna wait for it to poop out. So far so good. One Q though. Does anyone ph their tea?

I dont ever ph my teas, neither do most people but some do, I dont agree with it but some do... A good tea can have worm castings and molasses... It doesnt need to have 50 different items but there are recipes galore out there...
