Trudeau's legalization without the NDP's proposed undetermined period of continued prohibition sounds better. Decriminalization is all about turning pot smokers into ATM for the cops. Why would you not want to skip that step, instead of waiting for a politician to 'study' it? We all know how government 'study's' go. Once the police forces get used to the steady stream of money from possession fines, it is never going away. We may disagree on this issue, but I've been advocating for legalization for 35+ years and I will not settle for anything less. Whatever the result, Monday night is going to be extremely entertaining!Decriminalization the first day then work on going legal? Whaaa?
Sounds better than any of the rest now
I a med user/grower too, so legal isn't a life changer anymore. But I was a rec user, I have many friends and family that enjoy weed and they should not be penalized for something ridiculous. I am a walking example of the damage alcohol does, yet I was never once arrested and charged for possession of booze. Prohibition is an assault on my freedom, and being a product of the 60's and 70's, my natural response is to fight for change. Just because I'm not affected, doesn't mean I don't care.Because I'm a med user and don't really care about someone who just WANTS to get high.
Those guys will be the fuck ups that get new rules put in.
worst thing we ever let them do was label and separate us.Because I'm a med user and don't really care about someone who just WANTS to get high.
Those guys will be the fuck ups that get new rules put in.

That isnt the way to look at it...Decriminalization the first day then work on going legal? Whaaa?

THIS IS A MED DEAL AFTER ALL...!!!Who cares what "some" pretentious med users think about rec users.
Everyone uses it for different reasons, who really cares.
If it helps you, that's what matters. Decrim is what will take money from the pockets of Canadians and send it to the ramp and gov, and legalization will keep them out of jail.
Some people can never be pleased as outlined in almost any tweed or legalization thread. It's about making it legal, nothing else.
It's weird how med users are even bitching about legalization. Seems pretty self defeating to me.
Stop repeating this bullshit about fines for possession. It's not true it's not part of the Ndp decriminalization plan and you've been told this repeatedly. Are you just to fucking daft to not understand the Ndp plan is NO CRIMINAL or CIVIL penaltys? but you go ahead and keep the lie about fines alive and well.Trudeau's legalization without the NDP's proposed undetermined period of continued prohibition sounds better. Decriminalization is all about turning pot smokers into ATM for the cops. Why would you not want to skip that step, instead of waiting for a politician to 'study' it? No decrim is not illigal and it isn't jail time. Sorry but your spreading lies. No criminal or civil penaltys are pretty fucking clear but you all seem to have a problem with the specific word "decriminalizition". It means freedom not more regulations. That isnt the way to look at it...
Make it LEGAL then go from there.
WTF is wrong with you people. ..brain washed...LEGAL IS LEGAL
DECRIM IS ILLEGAL AND JAIL TIME STILL
LEGAL ???...well..... JAIL and legal are not in the same sentence!!!
Toms a nice guy but,,, HE CANT THINK STRAIGHT!!!!
Who was in charge when the mmar was put into place? The liberals. Who where in power when hc was forced by the Scoc to allow for dg's to grow for more then one person? That's right the liberals! And it was the liberals who did as little as ducking possible to comply with the Scoc ruling. Fuck them they don't want real freedom they just want all your $$.Oh look, the resident LPC shills are back to lie and misinform.
Remember when Trudeau voted to support Harper's mandatory minimums for cannabis growers? I do.
Liberal legalization is going to look like the MMPR. We will remember your names when you try and rewrite history in a few weeks and claim you never supported their corporate cannabis agenda.
All politicians are crooks. Stop pretending mulcy or justin are any different from harper.
think about it...No decrim is not illigal and it isn't jail time. Sorry but your spreading lies. No criminal or civil penaltys are pretty fucking clear but you all seem to have a problem with the specific word "decriminalizition". It means freedom not more regulations.
I'm afraid you're wrong...but I ain't gonna convince you. I have never come across anyone that couldn't grasp the difference between legal and not legal before now. I don't get the confusion. It don't matter now because Mulcair is not gonna form government. I like legalization for recreational rather than decrim, but regardless of who gets in, medical is not gonna be affected by the election. That will be decided by the courts...in our favour. A NDP or Lib overnment would be more open to making changes at HC that favoured mmj, which would limit the need to fight every little thing in court. Go ahead and jump on me for being wrong or being a Lib schill or whatever you and the ditzy bitch want to do, but until you show me some example of decriminalization that doesn't involve fines, I'll stick with my definition. Give this a read and have a look at the description on the right for each country...see what is says for those that are decriminalized. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_cannabis_by_countryNo decrim is not illigal and it isn't jail time. If I'm wrong then prove it! Where hav the NDP said there will be a fine for possession under their decriminalizition plan? What can't find it anywhere? Cuz they don't stand for that! You keep believing whatever you, want. A fine is a civil penalty. The Ndp have said no civil penaltys! So I can't grasp how you think that means they will implement a fine. Maybe because you're old and all the past liberal decrim plans involved a fine rather then criminal penalty has you confused. Yeah that must be it.. Quoting wiki as your source is just... Cmon do your own research on the subject. And to claim that the libs will be more likely to make changes in our favor at hc is horse shit. Pure horse shit. Who implemented the mmar. Liberals! Who fought with us tooth and nail to not change the mmar to allow for more then one patients meds to be produced at one site? That's right the fucking liberals! Ain't they great?I'm afraid you're wrong...but I ain't gonna convince you. I have never come across anyone that couldn't grasp the difference between legal and not legal before now.
