Your favorite nutrients and why

Just thought I'd start a tread to see what others are using and why they prefer it over the others they have run in the past. I have used fox farm in hydro and soil and think it did great along with roots organic trio in soil( uprising grow, phos bat guano, and uprising foundation.) and the other I've had great luck with is general hydroponics line flora series plus added gh supplements on top. So what are you guys useing and why does it do it for you over others you have tried.

Good balanced feed throughout the grow. The complete organic line from Humboldt Nutrients is amazing. Liquid Light and Saturator Foliar every other day as well. Liquid Light is amazing ill never stop using it. Practically can watch the plants grow after you spray them and the leaves stand right up at attention right after every spray. Its a pretty thing to see

I agree with you both but if people are growing in the same environment every time they may have try a few and seen different results. This tread is NOT intended to start a shit storm at all that is the last thing I'd ever want to do I hate drama I'm here to learn and help if I can not argue with anyone because the way I see it it's not what riu is here for (shit talking and arguing ) threads like these give me ideas for future grows. I don't want drama just opinions. A NICE and heathy Argument with difference of opinion is fine just no shit talk. There are MANY respected growers here that I can learn a lot from here this is why I love this site! You guys made a very valid point so if anyone wants to they can throw in some other factors of there grow as well I'm just wondering what users of riu like the best. Sorry for the rant but you guys were right just didn't think of that still kinda sleeping lol.

I disagree, only because I've run my own head to heads using various different nutrients and seen very different results from exactly the same conditions.

I'm of the opinion that if you get it in a bottle, you're not getting your money's worth.

2. Yara Liva brand calcium nitrate
3. Haifa brand MKP (monopotassium phosphate)
4. Epsom salt from Wal-Mart or your local drugstore

That's my whole nutrient list, it performs very well for me, it's completely tunable, and I know exactly what's in it and just as importantly, what ISN'T. No PGR shit, for instance.

The kicker is that with these dry nutes, I'm paying a tiny fraction of what it costs to do the same thing with water bottles, on the order of five percent- or less.

I use pro mix and home made castings. I sent in the mix for a soil test and then use the recommended broadcast and foliars. Same idea as "Doc Buds High brix kit", same lab.
Plants grow great, look good, ZERO deficiency or nutrition issues.

Soil test is about $60. If you use exact same stuff you only need to do it 1x.

Works beautifully on vegetables too.

A little Jacks Classic Petunia
I dabble with a microscopic dose of Sea Green as well.
All in very moderate doses.
I consider other factors more important. I think sometimes people get a little too obsessed with nutrients then the next thing you know they ask "When should I flush"
to try to get rid of everything they've been burning their plants with.
It takes awhile to learn how how important moderation is

I agree I use roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of the recommended dose with a few exemptions for strains that are heavy feeders. Most of them have to high of a dose to begin with but most don't realize when they start that most nutrients are not marijuana specific and other company's are and just won't state it jmho.

When using any nutrient, especially comparing, you have to use them as were intended. Most people don't do this. If you were to compare say GH's flora line agains say Blue Planets equivalent 3 part it would take an expert to notice any difference, if any.
Now if I try to grow in the summer without ac... I might as well just quit before I get started.

I followed the label instructions and/or the mfrs' reps' advice to the letter, as I was interested in the best nutrients at any price.

I stand by my result. I have a couple hundred bux worth of Canna nutrients left, I'll make you a deal!

i've got ya beat. lucas formula. i mix at 5g/gal GH maxibloom. RO water. done.

and a bottle of vitamin and hormone booster for seedlings.

my main point was $$$$ worth of any nute isn't gonna matter if your temps are too high, rh too high, not enough light, root rot, spider mites, etc.

The protekt sure makes them look good.
Not only does dyna work good and is easy to use its pretty cheap.

Im on my first "successful" coco run (never got past seed).
Cns17 grow + ripe, protekt, microblast, epsom salt, root start (mixed to my own NPK ca/mg ratios).
Holy shit!
Crazy healthy plants. Thick thick stocks. Thick white beautiful roots... Makes me wonder why i ever grew in soil >.<
Ive never had plants with such an amazing rootball in only 5 weeks time. Brings tears to my eyes. I see significantly higher then average yields in my future. )

Very happy with cns17. Mix with warm water first.
