10 weeks in, running 4 sour diesel(10 week strain) in soil.

I was thinking they have a week, maybe 2 to go.

This is my first grow, so im not too sure on when to stop giving nutes. I usually nute once a week with watering inbetween.

Any help is appreciated. Posted picture of the full girls as well as the trichomes.

Still loads of white hair there.........which means you have at least 2 weeks, maybe more. I love those 10 weeks strains that take 12-13 weeks to finish!

Thats about what I was thinking. Do you flush, and if so, when would you suggest I start it?

Depends on the type of fertilizer you are using.....if it's chemical based, I start around 12 days before finishing. If it's organic based, then a week is all you need. It also depends if you use a flushing product, like Clearex or something like that. If so, probably even less time is necessary. Personally, I use Botanicare Pure Blend Pro, which is pretty much organic and I start the flush when the plants look done and continue for about another week. Buds taste and smoke fine!

I use "organic" nutrients :) i flush 7-10 days depending on how much I've been feeding.. If my plants were on heavy feeding schedules i flush for 10 days... If i fed moderate to light then i flush 7-8 days... Mine always smokes and tastes delicious! My latest Cherry OG from Emerald Triangle

I like to flush from 7 to 10 days before harvest.Nice plants but there are still lots of white pistils showing, if you wait until they seem to recede into the buds it will fatten up your buds. It is worth the wait since you put so much work into those beauties .

You don't need to flush. It's a myth.

I know i dont have to flush. But this is my first harvest, so im going to flush 2 plants and not flush 2 plants.

Ill see if I personally see any difference between flushing or not, and then ill choose my preferred method for the future.

Nice dude, I always like to see a little side by side comparison. I didn't flush my last harvest but I also haven't smoked any yet. I tent to side with the "myth" people on flushing.

An experienced grower Always flushes. Black ash doesn't taste well or burn well. It's always good to be a little patient especially after you've done all the waiting and put all the work in and then it's all screwed up. #ilovecoco

well shit, i'll be damned then. haven't flushed anything other than bodily waste since the Clinton administration.
guess i'm just not experienced.
My herb burns to white ash by the way.
Hmmm so I just give it some flushing chemicals at the end, and those chemicals force the other chemicals out of my flowers?
NIce, that just boggles my wee lil brain

Just seemed a lil black and white to me... that type of blanketed statement is bound to garner disagreements.
Your first sentence is what raised my eyebrows, as I have found the opposite to be true..
an experienced grower NEVER flushes...
but each grower has their own techniques they prefer.

Ok I'm sorry, I'll just agree while everyone trolls around for advise. I'm sorry if I was telling him to flush his plants. I didn't know that's how the pros did it. So sorry

I flush. About 10-14 days. But some strains do taste well even with no flush. I've had bud taste good without a proper cure. But i like to do the little things to make it better. Flushing does work.
