hmmm, I couldn't say wither way, I have heard of people using beach sand (much of that is coral depending on where you are) to help control the ph, but I have no experience doing so.I was looking at the chicken style oyster shells. It says 15-20% oyster. The rest I'm guessing is calcium carbonate coral or something. Think that's ok?
In theory i'd say it's probably ok, but I don't know, only 15-20% shells seems sorta chinsy to me...
That's 85% something else.. i'd be concerned with it's content. and it's soluble-ness
