UBuck when he graduated high school.
lol, you can read all that below, ill give you a brief summary
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Turing

Alan was a very smart fellow with computers, he was also a mathematics and cryptography genius
he was involved in cracking the Enigma code during ww2 , he was thought to be one of the smartest minds in the country at the time with computers etc

however in the 1950's he was found guilty of being a homosexual and would of gone to prison as this was illegal at the time
he did not like the idea of prison so he chose chemical castration as his punishment

it is said as a result of the chemical castration he suffered from impotence and he grew breasts
sadly i can't find any photos of Alan's moobs

even more sad, Alan became depressed and died by eating an apple laced with cyanide only two years after his chemical castration :(

What do you think? Good idea or bad idea to notate a student's official transcript with "this guy is a rapist", whether convicted or not?

https://reason.com/blog/2015/07/15/dc-legislators-want-to-brand-accused-stu

Newly proposed D.C. legislation would require colleges to put a permanent and prominent notation on the academic transcripts of students who are convicted of sexual assault or who try to withdraw from school while under investigation for sexual misconduct — a “Scarlet Letter” that would follow them to new schools and graduate programs or into the workforce.

Council member Anita Bonds’s proposal Tuesday — which comes as the nation is paying more attention to the widespread problem of college sexual assault — immediately drew praise from several colleagues for its bold approach to attacking the issue. But it also caught officials at the city’s colleges and universities off guard, proposing what is certain to be a controversial way of permanently punishing those accused of assaults.
it's a felony in florida, so it's all records.

i believe this should be according to the rules of your state not a college, especially since the person wasn't even convicted.

many people are wrongly convicted in the us for specifically this.

the truth is important, but not at the expense of reputation.

i'm with DD (dum dum).
The descriptions of the bill that I can find only say the notation is to be made if the student is convicted of rape or under investigation. Wouldn't that mean a conviction in criminal court or police investigation? It's the talking heads that are projecting this to be done in some campus court.

"The legislation, which is being referred to as the "Scarlet Letter" bill, would require colleges and universities to indicate a conviction of sexual assault on a student's transcript, or on the transcript of students who withdraw from school while under investigation for sexual misconduct."

Like @NewtoMJ, I don't see anything about a campus judiciary hearing except from the people that are complaining about the bill. Reminds me of Palin's "Death Panels".

Rapists often go on to commit the crime again. Why would this be such a bad thing to do?

Rapists are often serial predators who victimize over and over, and generally speaking, I'm in favor of giving them a permanent boot to the ass. Having said that, when's the last time government involvement in something actually made it better? So say this bill becomes law, what will putting a note in their file do to stop them from raping again? Zero. This is just another instance of some jackass blowing smoke up the electorate's ass by pretending to do something while actually accomplishing nothing, and increasing legislative fuckery by as much as they can.

They are not convictions. A campus judiciary hearing is just the school deciding what to do if a student violates the code of conduct, if the offense is criminal, there is still going to be state or federal charges.
Sorry, but you are wrong. The feds have changed the rules specifically to create these Kangaroo courts on college campuses, citing title 9. Guilt is determined by a "preponderance of evidence" test. Basically, these things usually boil down to a "he said, she said" situation and the colleges have expelled students, almost always male students, because of unprovable, or demonstrably false allegations. This is a charge of rape documented on official records that follow these students forever. Would you want your angry ex-girlfriend to be able to charge you with rape and have no legal recourse to defend yourself? Would you want to produce your transcripts to a potential employer with "RAPIST" plastered on it?

If a girl is raped, call the police. If a guy rapes a girl, put him in prison. If the guy is innocent, then exonerate him. Lynching is outlawed for a reason.

The UVA rape case chronicled by Rolling Stone is an excellent example of this. It was a pack of lies, and never happened. It's the Kultur war in action.

You lefties ought to venture beyond HuffPo and Democratic Underground occasionally.

https://www.thefire.org/california-court-ucsd-sexual-assault-proceedings-violated-students-due-process-rights/

This case, Doe v. Regents of the University of California, San Diego, was filed after the university found the petitioner, pseudonymously known as John Doe, responsible for sexual assault after a hearing in December of 2014. Doe was initially suspended for one quarter, subjected to a permanent no-contact order with the complainant, ordered to attend a two-hour sex offense/sexual harassment training, and required to submit to a counseling assessment. Without any explanation, on appeal, his penalty was increased to a suspension for a full year, which required him to reapply to be readmitted. In addition, he was placed on non-academic probation and ordered to attend ethics workshops.

The court ordered UCSD to set aside its factual findings and sanctions because the procedures UCSD used in Doe’s case violated his due process rights in several significant respects.

The ruling is the latest in the increasing trend of sexual assault allegations against college students (and universities’ responses to those claims) resulting in administrative complaints with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and lawsuits by accused students.

How does college campus court outcome follow someone around for the rest of their lives? I remember being told in high school that being suspended would follow me around for the rest of my life. I laugh at that notion then, and I'm laughing at it now.

do you really think women just go around making up rape allegations?

most rapes don't even get reported. you should be more worried about that than excusing rapists.

how many women did you rape iniraq?

You've got 9 fucking pages of rape quotes. You constantly post weirdly lecherous shit, trying to convince us you've still got a little lead left in that geriatric pecker of yours. Are you just completely full of shit, or are you the type of guy a lady has to watch her drink around?

Since I did not remember any of the "quotes" you posted, I followed the first link:

Here is what you quoted me saying:
"circumcision aids in rape"

Here is what I said:
"I have never heard the claim that circumcision aids in rape, and I cannot imagine how lack of a foreskin would help."

You are a strange, little weirdo, and your writing style is just like Unclebuck's. Odd, that.

I didn't bother to follow the other links. They are also lies.

Very typical of you to avoid a direct question. The descriptions of the bill that I can find only say the notation is to be made if the student is convicted of rape or under investigation. Wouldn't that mean a conviction in criminal court or police investigation? It's the talking heads that are projecting this to be done in some campus court.

At no point in the article you posted is there any mention of the word conviction. So what does your article have to do with the bill that you are complaining about? Do the campus courts have the ability to convict?
