Seriously limp noodle arms dude. I just did the math on what my grows costs me per gram and it came out to .25 to .50 a gram. I did it out of curiosity and actually those figures are on the high side since I averaged up to the most expensive scenario. And that math was done ccpmsodering an auto grow. Since my last were photos with a very short veg before 12/12, I will redo the math on that and it will probably come in at the lower end of the spectrum. I know you grow, cause you shared a photo holding up a little cola with those wet noodle arms. I'm surprised tho that you've never figured up what your costs are. Really it doesn't matter too much because I actually have grown for years without figuring it up myself. I do try to keep my methods cheap and simple. The electric the lights use are the most expense.

If you do the math including electric, water and all of your other consumables, you might be shocked at just how cheap it is. I only pay like .10 for a KWH and use Lucas formula, reuse perlite over and over so the nutes are only a few bucks per cycle. I think the electric was around $20 for an auto for 30 days 18 on at 350 watts. But, I would graduate up from a mere 20 watt CFL early on, so I only use 350 watts maybe the last 30-45 days depending on the auto. Some really are ready at 8 weeks. So lots of small variables. I could just grow one plant under 160 watts if I wanted, yet the costs are so insignificant even if I double it will still be only about .50 a gram depending on yield. Like the critical Jack was a very low yielder. But, the smoke was dank and very much worth it even with a low yield. I have discovered with autos, in my experience te yeiild may vary pretty significantly. As an example out of the same pack of WOS afghan Kush, you might get 2 oz from one and up to maybe 3 oz the next. CJ was about an O and was my lowest yielding. It was a freebie so only grown it once.

Anyway, unless you are using really high dollar nutes, electric will be your highest costs in a hempy bucket, Lucas formula grow. Hydro? May spend more on nutes. I reuse my perlite so, no costs for a bag of medium every grow. Soil would be more expensive in that respect. Anyway, I agree you could lower costs to less than zero very easily. I just don't do it because it's so cheap anyway. I grow for personal only. Best of luck and .86 GPW sounds like your doing it right. I am not getting that high of a figure from my own. But I am not really trying that hard either. I'll bet I could get 6 plants under my 350 watts. Then I might achieve your results, but I can't possibly smoke that much weed probably in a year. lol. Last I used a 150 HID and two LEDs. One pulls 110 watts per the manufacturer. The other has less LED so I figure it pulls up to 90 watts on the high end. I only use one fan anymore, so I figure it out at about 350 watts on average.

I start my seedlings in the window sill for about 2 weeks. Maybe putting them under a 20 watt cfl at night. Pretty much 24 hours of light. Then I move them under a humongous 65 watt CFL and finally under the 150 watt HPS adding the LEDs as needed toward the end of the grow. So, kinda impossible to get exact numbers since I don't log what I do on paper. I just do it when I think it's right. I did all estimations on the high side.

We pay 25c a kw/hr here so my electricity increase is considerable, even with a single 600 and couple of fans

My last grow were 2 photos, freebs. DNA Lemon Skunk and Dinafem Original Amnesia.

No shit, I for real grew them both in a single 3 gallon hempy bucket. 4 week veg on the amnesia, it started out retarded and took that long to get like 4" tall. 2 weeks on the Lemon Skunk and topped it so the Amnesia could catch up. I only planted the LS because I didn't think the Amnesia would make it. They both turned out amazing. About 75 days total. The amnesia was a little early could have gone two more weeks.

Anyway, the Amnesia is serious potent. I busted up a bunch of roaches Thursday just because I had so many. I rolled up about 1/2 gram j and literally didn't finish it until last night. Gotta break into the stash in a bit. It is nearly a devastating smoke. Love Dinafem. Haven't tried them all but, have grown a lot of their stuff and it's always the best. White widow looks good too.

What if we grow more and more and more? What about if you grow indoors and outdoors? I sure as shit don't have the time to weigh and calculate cost per gram cause weed comes down more move in it's a never ending cycle and I don't have tiny numbers from a "humungous" 35 true watt CFL.... :bigjoint:

Anyone that operates as a business, not growing for personal use..and even so

Should know how much it cost to operate and how much per unit, wether grams or whatever. Thats literally the first thing any investor, business partner whatever will ask. Along with sale price etc etc
