The PH of the spray needs to be high(alkaline) to kill powdery mildew
I don't think it needs to be, that's just how greencure and sulphur work. I have used greencure plenty, but Nukem works better or at least should be in any preventative spray rotation. I also rotate it with Azamax and Organocide for bugs. Those last 2 even help keep PM at bay. Good ventilation and proper humidity are also variables that could need improving. Thinning and having good airflow help as well.

Possibly with those products but the genreal rule is fungi hates High Alkaline and thives on High Acidic...;)

Google HorseTail Grass tea.....Buy it in a bulk and prep it as directed for the tea.....When cool pour it in your sprayer and spray the plant down.....Organic...The plant LIKES it (as a foliar) and it WORKS.....can be sprayed right up to harvest!

Now spray down EVERYTHING in the grow with a weak bleach solution.....and I do mean everything!!!! I can not say that enough EVERYTHING, Include fans, nute bottles undersides of tables frick'in EVERYWHERE AND EVERYTHING! Floor, ceiling, in the cracks, on top of light fixtures,,,,I left places out,,,you can't!!

Horse tail works better for cheaper then anything I have ever tried......An Ag. prof was touring my organic farm...We went to the house for some coffee and he looked at my veggie garden by the house. He saw the normal PM on the Zucchini & Squash strains I had in there (before I could use an early bio tea as a killer)......He walked over to the edge of the creek and pulled up a handful of Horsetail grass. Turned, stuck his hand out and said..Boil this and spray it on PM....Your common squash PM problems will go away!
Worked great!

When I am between runs I burn sulphur for 8-10 hrs straight with exhaust off. This neutralizes all the pm spores in every nook and crany of a room... after plants are in, make sure they get adequate calcium. This will build up the cell walls making it impossible for pm spores to plug into your leaves! Healthy plants are the best defense against any adverse conditions!
