Just wondering if there's any good alternatives for ff big bloom. It seems to go pretty fast and is getting pricey.
Thanks and have a wonderful day.

I have no idea why more people don't do this.build your own soil
I'm trying to learn how to do that. I just stumbled in the organics section last night for the first time and have already found some great stuff, which had lead me to also want to try to recycle my soil. I just gotta figure that out too. I got lots and lots of soil I toss.build your own soil
Thanks broski I'll look into those and get whatever's cheapest.Ffbb is a tea type organic fert like biobizz grow and earth juice catalyst. Biobizz and earth juice also make organic blooming ferts closer to ffbb's npk if that's what you are looking for
because we're noobs and it's easy to just buy a good quality pre mix at the grow shop.I have no idea why more people don't do this.
I buy my the mix for my soil off of eBay. Can't get much easier than that.because we're noobs and it's easy to just buy a good quality pre mix at the grow shop.
"Budwell" works very well an it's organic then the advanced line Big Bud, Bud-blood,ect - if want to go cheaper look at General Hydro's productsJust wondering if there's any good alternatives for ff big bloom. It seems to go pretty fast and is getting pricey.

you could do that, but like the old argument.. how much aerobic microbial life is gonna be alive in a sealed anaerobic bottle....It does not really replace what big bloom does but if you are looking for an organic bloom booster check out HPK by roots organics. It's a guano based high PK nutrient that contains microbial life. Of course building, recycling and/or amending your own mix is preferable but soup style organics can get your plants through to the finish line if you do not yet have the exp or resources.
Totally true and I agree but the OP was looking for over the counter bottled organic products similar to big bloom and there are options available. I mean yeah It's easy to bubble up your own tea and surely a whole lot cheaper in the long run too but if you don't yet have all you need -ie airstones, EWC, and amendments like alfalfa or kelp meal- you can get by with bottled organics like BB and HPK to get your plants through to harvest without resorting to synthetics.you could do that, but like the old argument.. how much aerobic microbial life is gonna be alive in a sealed anaerobic bottle....
Besides, and 100% no disrespect intended, but it'd be cheaper, more effective, and a better product overall to simply make your own guano tea.
Personally i'd take an alfalfa tea, kelp and fish hydrosylate tea over anything bottled, but it's all a preference.
hell some like blood meal tea.... blech...
to be honest, I've kinda been steering away from nutrient teas, instead I really am having good results from amending my compost pile as opposed to my soil mix, am working on a new recipe that uses a bunch of slow release nutrients.
Seems like I am always tweeking my recipe... it's getting close to perfect though, for me anyways. just gotta wait another 10 months or so for my leaf mold to break down.
