My oldest smoked a fair bit between 14 - 16. Couple months after she turned 16 she had a really bad experience - greened out to the point where she lost conciousness. She had a panic attack / episode that lasted 48 hrs until I took her to ER and they brought her down then sedated her, heavily. She hasn't smoked since. I'm pretty sure something other than just MJ was involved but she's not telling. Needless to say, she hasn't smoked since.I was always more concerned about booze with her than MJ. Alcoholism runs hard on my mom's side. I don't drink. Not even occasionally. Probably been 15 + years.

I vaguely recall smoking a bowl back in my early 20's. I might talk smack about smoking just cause I want to be one of the cool kids, lol. It's a concious choice on my part not to smoke though. I'm fighting like a maternal she-beast to secure the legal right to grow medical cannabis on my son's behalf. I like knowing that if I ever did get busted, I could honestly say I'm only growing for my son. If I ever had to prove that, I could piss clean at any time (of cannabis).

BTW, if one of your child does tell others about your smoking, you simply murder that child. Preferably in front of your other children. Even when young they get the message, and it's unlikely that they will repeat this transgression. You can always make more kids, it's really easy...

I can say my experimentation with drugs and alcohol started because the information was hid from me and I was a sponge for knowledge..I WANTED to know about this stuff, but most adults around me believed it's better to try to hide it than be open about it..so I went out and learned on my own. I will never let my kids learn that way, if i have kids..I want them to have the info to make educated decisions.
