All my growing skills have been indoors, I'm not gonna lie I don't know much bought outdoors. But what I'm looking for is truly professional answer disregarding yeild of course, but is there any difference with the same cut run indoors vs outdoors in the natural fall time? I know you'll get airier buds grown under say a mh, but straight up hps Vs outdoor Fall natural sun time is there a difference in density high or effect/potency with the same cut nutes etc...?

it's all about intense sun when they finish. A lot of outdoor bud is airy and premature because it didn't get that sunshine in those last couple weeks. For me that means not trying to harvest in october. Cool temps and overcast sky is almost as bad as rain.

I'm not saying you can't get dense buds, just the tendency for outdoor to be fluffier is connected to environment and harvesting early. You'd get similar if you dimmed your lights, dropped the temps for the last few weeks and harvested a week early. Cold temps and cloudy days means the plant really isn't doing much, so even if the weeks are clicking by that doesn't mean the plant is maturing like it would indoor. My bubblegum does great, it finishes the last week of september. Rain/clouds come first of october. It's just as dense as indoor. Not so for most everything else that finishes mid october or later. Depending on the weather, and location. Lots of regional differences as well as micro climates for variables. Mid october in mendo is a hell of a lot better than mid october in coastal oregon.

I think your getting closer here... closer... towards the end of your post there.... strain, climate, care.... shade and cooler temps can do plants some good towards the end, I have seen. just to KISS

I'm in Michigan and since I've been growing outdoors i never had air buds. And that's without a hoophouse and i also let my ladies go until Halloween or later. The only problem i had here was fucking mother natures wind storm fucking breaking my big bitches! Hoops going up this year for sure!

Yea i do. I usually use that to cook with and give away! Lol
I harvest all the top buds, then wait about a week to cut all the smaller buds. them smaller buds will get more light and air once the plant is partially harvested, thus they do gain more weight. B HAPPY!
