Same happened to me once. I wrote a beautiful bit of prose under the name Mr. Punch. It was a near perfect retelling of the traditional Victorian seaside puppet show 'Punch and Judy' from Punch's perspective.

It offended people. It was removed. I think it was the throwing the baby out the window that did it....
