I made it! My first harvest baby!

As the title says, I finally made it to my first harvest! I appreciate the help and support from the many users who make up this great community, and don't know if this crazy dream here would have ever came to fruition without yall, so THANK YOU!! This has been a great journey, but did not go without a hitch of course. I had some sort of PH imbalance when I accidentally was given the old AN Connoisseur without the PH perfect at my local shop. It didn't really slow anything down and I have nothing but great things to say about the AN line. I've definitely scaled the nutes back on my next batch so it will be nice to see what the differences yield.

Anybody thinking of starting this great hobby who may be reading this I would advise you check out this site www.growweedeasy.com and get everything down pat before you pop the bean.

I grew out the Devils Harvest ~ Fallen Angel, and judging by the scissor hash and test buds, I have not done too bad!! It has been a great plant and I would fully suggest anybody who gets the chance to grow it do so. I have no idea about the weight yet but will weigh it in a couple days and will update. I left the bottom halves of both the plants and will finish the next couple days. That will double, or almost triple, what I have pictured.

Without any further ado, here are the pics of my first, and definitely not last, HARVEST!!!

P.S. I would like to apologize about the picture quality. I couldn't take a decent freaking pic for the life of me.

Congats! fat nuggage too! good idea on leaving them grow. could prob let reveg and have a fall harvest off the same plant!BOH!

Cheeba - I had a 200W CaliLightworks SolarFlare and a couple Area-51 lamps pumping in the bloom room.

Joe - Ya I had the SolarFlare up to the top of the 6' tent, and a good 12-14" above the plant, and still experienced some bleaching. Them 5 watt LEDs aint no joke.

The buds just keep coming! LOL So I left the bottoms in the dark and did one yesterday and one today. I know how controversial the 48 hour darkness can be, but I will take pictures for verifiable evidence with next harvest in about 4 weeks or so. The bud left in dark for 36-48 hours certainly seemed to be covered with an extra layer of triches. All it has really been doing is drying on the stem, but I didn't really buy into the benefits. I now know first hand will take pics before and after the dark period of my next harvest.

Another controversial method I can speak on is pruning some of the fan leaves 2-4 weeks into flowering. The larger fan leaves that are covering good size pistil bunches, can be cut back in a two day process. I know some people have taken this to an extreme, which I certainly wouldn't endorse, but I pruned one half of a plant and left the other half alone and I could clearly see the buds that were now receiving more light had packed on additional girth.


The fine folks at Area-51 and Cali Lightworks certainly know their stuff. All I can say to anybody who is on the fence about purchasing from either company, is they can rest assure that they are getting a quality product from quality companies and will get a quality end product!

After drying it appears I got just a tiny bit over 3 zips of quality nugs and another half of nice popcorn buds. I didn't weigh the hash trimmings and am leaning towards just making some edibles. Today's the first day I could give it a try and it's smoking! Smoke report = smooth smoke that will put you to sleep.
