Like it was just said. Kids need love, attention, and structure.
You would be surprised what 30 min to hour of direct personal attention to kids will do.
as long as you provide good clothing food, shelter, and your grow is legal and locked away like you said i would see no reason as to why child protective services will take him away,
this kinda shit happens all the time,
make sure the house is spotless and pretty, like youre showing it to buyers, dress business casual , make coffee invite worker in provide coffee, and tell your tale.
im sure nothing will happen as long as youre good parents which it sounds like you are.

I agree. I think this kid needs a bit more one to one time, pref with a psychiatric worker.
I'm not great with kids because I don't have any. However I do remember not threatening to grass my parents up and being rewarding with billions of hamsters! Lol
or just being a pissed off 9 year old.
i remember being 6ish when my dad met his current wife, i made life hell for them because i didnt like her. i still dont like her shes a cunt.
kids today pull this kinda shit like its fucking eating candy they really do it all the time, he probably is just having some behavioral issues, maybe after this all blows over your case worker can recommend a social worker to speak with him and work on his issues, or a safe palce where he can talk about his feelings

The daughter never had a dad. My dad took her to school and helped her get into UK pharmacy school. She calls him dad and loves him.

Yea hes pissed alright. But he gets to stay at moms for the next few days till CPS comes to investigate. Meanwhile, its video game time, playtime, poor poor Kingston time. I see threw all the bs bc I;ve already raised kids. their parents fall for his bs all the time. They have created a monster. And they have expected me to fix it for them basically. Mom tells us this summer that the little one should be kept behind in school and he needs alot of help getting up to par. So I worked with him and got him there. She laid out in the sun and tended to her rose garden...I wish I could have done that...I was spending all my time with her kids. IM kinda bitter about that tbh.
I have to ask cause your in KY, did you and your step sister ever bump uglies?
