Serious: DoubleDutch?

I have been looking at this for a while and serious has a promo right now. My nephew wanted chronic but I heard of stability issues and someone suggested DoubleD instead.

How about Chronic then? Or kali mist? I have had the AK&WR, now I would like to see what else serious has... I heard that chronic is some what unstable and kali mist is a 100 day flower time!

I have grown Kali Mist, Chronic, AK-47, and Bubblegum from SeriousSeeds (all regs).

- Kali Mist is probably my favorite strain ever. They decided to cross it to an Afghani (I believe) some time ago to shorten the flowering time. I'm not a huge fan since they did that. I much prefer the unadulterated more Sativa version, so I am growing Western Winds from Sagarmatha right now to see if I can find that magic again. This strain is supposed to be original Kali Mist stock circa 2000. And yes, it is a 100+ day flower. The newer version from Serious is going to be a shorter flower, but again, not as good as the original IMO.

-The Chronic was decent. Easy to grow, nice yield, mid grade potency/effect/flavor/smell. It would be a good strain for someone new to growing, or someone looking for a reliable cash crop. I didn't find it unstable at all, but this was years ago so I can't speak for how it is more recently.

FWIW, I loved the AK-47, and didnt care for the Bubblegum. That was the one that I found unstable. Every plant was very different.... and I didn't care for a single one of them.

From what you say, Chronic sounds decent for me. I would say that I am a novice instead of newb, 3yrs exp.
My nephew wanted me to get OG#18 but the description even says that it is more for expert growers!
I had a pack of AK my first year and I found a good one that packed the weight and trich's. Maybe I should just try AK again. I was just such a newb then, I would like to see if I can do better and possibly get the cherry pheno! I heard 1in4 packs have one.

When someone says "experts", what they really mean is "pain in the ass plant". Just be prepared. I liked OG18, but damn fnicky every plant I had.

I really wanted Chronic when it didn't have ak47 in it.

Granted I always have lived ak47, always solid smoke, but damn I wanted chronic without the ak

I know, I just really wanted pure chronic, with out adding the AK47, or skunk genetics. I'm being picky but when I grow Serious (who is on my list) It will probably be AK47 and Chronic.

I just need to reminisce of smoking AK47, and I want to order some. Even from different growers, it was a wonderful cerebral high. Scoring AK47 was always a great day.

i love serious seeds..im a guerilla grower so im sure u guys know what i grow..serious 6 and biddy early both great outdoor strains with a real cerebal uplighting soaring high!! i have never grew any of the others but from what ive smoked from buddys the Ak47 is second to none and i wish i could grow it outdoors..thats the kind of weed that knocks ur dick in the dirt..gl on ur choice keep us tuned in to what u choose

in all honesty any female pack of double dutch will give you uniform fantastic plants, it's frosty and turns purple with huge buds the only downside imo is the buds taste flowery while the hash tastes like Canadian kraft dinner when you use the whole pack of cheese on 1/4 of the box of noodles.

Canadian kraft dinner different than American? Can't say I'd ever want any hash that tastes like KD. American or Canadian. hahahaha

I've sampled KD on both sides of the border, and can't say that I noticed a difference.
