20141018_165142.jpg 20141018_164603.jpg 20141018_164603.jpg So i have a couple plants ive grown from seed. . They started on July 27 and theyve been flowing for about a Month and a week. .but they are autoflowering and the package says 65 days. . Now i kno that's usually not realistic but most of the pistils are red and curly except for the bottom ones. .. do they look okay or behind?

There's some frost, but the buds look pretty small and fluffy. I don't think it's behind in terms of maturity (i.e. the cannabinoid profile). Did you over do the Nitrogen in early flowering? Dark leaves and lots of "claw" on the top, and plenty of stretch there too (though maybe just genetics/lighting for the latter). Anyway, get a loupe/magnifier and look at your trichomes, they are super cheap and essential in determining when to harvest. Clear trichomes = not ready, cloudy/milky trichs = good to go, and amber = ripe and ready or past due (depending on whether or not you like a couchlock high). The pistils do point towards harvest time, despite the plant itself being a little bit spindly and quite green too. Nice frost though. Good luck and hope this helps.

I'd say you need more light. I'm going to guess that you have twelve 23 actual watt lights that are 100 watt equivalent...and with CFL's you need to get them CLOSE and all around your plants...
I'm basing this on the stretchy appearance of your plants

I have only ever grown autos, and the first thing i found was the estimated harvest time by the company is a load of crap, you usually have to add a week + and i used cfls for a very long time. When buying a cfl you cant go by equivilent watts, go for actual watts (the lower number) stick for watts between 20-30 and get the bulbs with as many lumen as possible, with autos you can use just 2700k bulbs and it will work fine, but for a nice healthy plants use some 6500k blue bulbs. And get as many as possible, i had 15 30w 1600 lumen, 2700k and 5, 30w 1400 lumen 6500k bulbs, growing sweet tooth auto, and it just wasnt enough, i had a smoke but nothing i could brag about, i have been using hps for 15 days and the difference in growth is out of this world. Get a microscope and as another grower said watch the trics, if you cang get one wait for 80 percent of hairs to change to red then chop. Hope this helps and remember to get ur lights 2 inches away. Furious

Fellas?

Anyway...you cant just go getting an hps and plugging it in...you'll need to plan for intake and exhaust, they put off a lot of heat and then you'll be trading one problem for another...
