hydrated lime or bottle cal/mag?

I am a broke-ass right now and I need cal/mag... Here is a few things that I have on hand: botnicare and dyna-gro bottle cal mag, food grade hydrated lime, gypsum, and botnicare straight mag no cal. I am kinda new at this organic stuff, but I have some old bottled stuff along with my mushroom supplies(hydrated lime, gypsum). I would like to think that I have a living soil and dont want to kill it. I would guess the lime cause it is the closeest thing i have to dolomite or epsom salt. Thanks.... By the way, what does fish emulsion contain?

never hydrated lime ever. what are you trying to do? recipes on homemade calmg from fermented eggshells i think.

To be honest, I am better at mushrooms. I use the lime for my straw/manure. I pour the leftovers in my yard and it will turn a nice green spot in my yard. So, you know. I was making an ASSumption... Mycellium just came natural to me and I am still trying to figure out organics.

Hydrated lime can burn if used wrong....I use cal mag in the begining of the veg stage if needed..then if when in flower if it just shows a mag def i use just mag...if you use cal mag all the time for just one element def you can over load on the element not being needed....

for Mag I use just epsom salt and for calcium I use just a calcium supplement...

neem meal - both
rock dust - both in trace amounts _ soluble
oyster shell flower both _ cheapest
gypsum rock powder - both

these nutes ^^^^ have other minerals too.

I dont fell comfortable taking pics yet... I used to think that I had an N problem because of the leaves fading yellow to brown. I top dressed with N bat guano and fish emulsion and I realized that it was mag problem. it starts with the lower old leaves. They would keep the green in the veins while the rest of the leaf would turn yellow. Fuck it, is there a reason why I shouldnt take pics? My state has one of the worst laws in the nation!

I use R/O water and NO cal/mag supplements... I set myself up for failure.

If you are not in a medical or legal state then move to one of those 25 states. Otherwise then don't post pics to be safe. Most of us on here are legal. Some people who are in those states and countries where mj is still illegal do post on here. I wouldn't if I were you. That's my 2 cents
