no problem there mate, it really doesn't matter , i didn't realize you were so close to chop,,have a nice smoke,is this your first harvest?Lights out on her 6pm 2nite and chop 6pm sunday nite

And? You also have shown you don't understand pre flowering. Flushing topic has been debunked to death, the time of day you harvest is irrelevant and putting you plant into 48 hours dark is pointless as well. Should we address harvesting during a full moon or maybe how sacrificing a chicken and dancing around your plant counter clockwise while chanting to shiva effects potency?

If your using chemical nutrients u need to flush your plants....if your using organics your give only water the last week no flushing...harvest your plants before the light is due to come on....it's in the dark for 12 hours that way.....happy growing

As far as I can gather, on this forum, as well as others, info should be regarded as juat that, info. Its not the alpha and omega, and by no means a rule. If something has worked or is working for you, then by all means, it is working. I also read alot on the flush, and it makes sense. BUT, I must confess, whatqwizoking is saying also makes sense. He is not just stating, he is actually providing very informative info to back up his theory.
I have seen alot of people contributing alot less believable theories. Maybe the other users have a lot more experience in growing than I have, but from my side, thanks thxqwizoking, info well noted, and page bookmarked for futher reading and ultimately testing.

Personally I'd go for the 'beginning of the light cycle' (or 'end of the dark period') just for the fact that THC is degraded by light and heat, so you can let the last bit of energy be used up during the dark period and chop before the light / heat can affect the potency of the top of your canopy negatively. TBH though I don't think you'd see much of a difference either way. If the trichomes say it's time, then it's time.Think mine is just ready to harvest and was wondering when people think it's best to harvest? Beginning or end of light cycle?

Yo semen might be good for pH adjustment tho haha. I read somewhere that the alkalinity of jizz counters the acidity of the vagina so they have a better shot at surviving

so your going with the 48 hours thing, good chooseThat's what I thought. Still some white hairs but trichs are nearly all cloudy so she'll get 48hrs darkness then the chop!!
