Hydro - How many days you FLUSH for ??

Well there are various hydro methods

During the last ~ 10 days I cut ppms back from ~ 800ppm to < 200 for the last 4-5 days,

then < 100 for 2 days

Having small amounts of ppm actually helps plant to flush

Plants don't "flush" shit. If you don't want an element present in your finished product (N, Ca, Mg) then reduction or withholding of those nutrients should be accomplished without a lack of other nutrients like phosphorus and potassium, the reduction progressing appropriately throughout the flowering cycle.

Not one damn minute- show me a day when those plants aren't doing SOMETHING that uses nutrients, and I'll show you the day after they needed chopped.

I run my EC down from 1.7 at peak bloom down to 1.2 at the very end. This is in accordance with gradually reducing RH and lowering the water level in the system as well throughout those same last two weeks.

I think flushing has a place, especially for those who use high PK bloom boosters, and who over fert.

Most mj gets along just fine with ~800ppm, but I have seen a lot of growers push it double or more

Don't chump the plants with nutes and you'll have no need to flush- not that flushing helps once you've done that to them, anyway.

SNAP, CRACKLE N POP belongs in your CEREAL bowl.

Hah.. I'm a flusher.. but my reasons are different.

I'm cheap with nutes. No reason to feed something that going to be chopped soon.

I like to pump, and dump.. full on with the pumps & let my media get flushed. While I'm draining, I'll wash my hydroton, and I can give the tanks a good cleaning.

Saves time and i'm cheap that way.... If it does flush the plants.. I guess thats a bonus. The base nutrients I use are mostly organic.

You guys who don't flush are smoking chemicals that's why your ashes are black. Flushing is a very important part of growing and even feeding schedules from every reputable company show a week flush at the end. For me I flush 10 days in hydroponics with RO water, and 14 days in soil.

Funny, my ashes aren't black and no one complains about the taste- FAR from it!

You guys must be the end all of growing knowledge let me just go against everything I have learned from the dispensaries (which do not like to flush but do to increase quality) , grow shops, and personal experience. Smoking blunts eh? That sounds sad must have some shitty weed trying to cover up that dirt taste :(

And if you say use less nutes that's just holding your plants back if your plant can handle 1600ppm during flowering why cut it down to 400ppm so you don't have to flush. That will just decrease growth rates and yield.
