Bud rot what to do....

Wow so I'm just devastated right now. I was growing cbd critical mass for my illness and as I'm curing my plants and cutting buds.. The buds touching the stem seems to have formed rot all on the inside. On the outside it looks big and nice: it attacked all of my main colas.... My side branches where okay. Anyways... I continued u chop the infected plant and put it in mason jars and threw it in the freezer before the mold spreads

Luckily I should have enough to at least give this cbd stuff a try to see if it helps my condition...

Anyways my question now is this. I plan to make rick simpson oil with ever clear. Obviously I don't want to use mold. I plan on getting rid of buds that have the mold on them.. There are some buds that have a very vague trace on it. Can I chop off that little bit of rot and still use this bud for alcohol rso??

my dad has cancer and he has done this a few times he leaves it out in the sun for a day or 2 kills off the mold speers then he boils it down i have found no ill effects in quality from it what so ever and he is still alive and kicken so it must work

I have heard from other oil makers (I don't) that moldy bud can be used for RSO using everclear as a solvent. There is not much that can live through an alcohol bath. :peace:

Thanks guys. The rot isn't that bad I'll just shave away the rot once I take it out of the freezer when it's all completly dry then throw it right into alcohol rso bath and I think I'll be ok still!

A dehumidifier will keep the rot from creaping into your next grow; especially with those solid tight buds.
