personally, i could pretty much care less about yields, and am more concerned with quality more so, and ime, the bigger yielders usually tend to lack in the potency dpt, and the lower the yield, the better the smoke ime..
things like big bud and critical crosses, huge yields of not so potent smoke.. then things like og's and bubba, not the biggest yielder, but omfg, get in my belly... the one that i have found that doesn't fit this rule is the blue dream clone, great yields of killer smoke..
my $.02 .. i also don't know why you're not getting dense og's, and the mk i ran a few years ago was super dense, killer smoke.. not sure if they've changed something over the past few years or what though..

Yes it was a gifted clones so maybe they cloned to death all my cookie crosses small yields but to steal a quote from u omfg get in my belly. Lol but all good smoke just don't have big yield I want to know what's the best of both worlds it used to be tutakamen but what is it now?

Think Different is not good. It will yield. It's quality is severely lacking. You couldn't give the shit away where I live.

Becareful with that advice. thats hipster talk. Get you some OG. Most of the time when you see high thc content its an og cross or mix. Theres lots out there but the OGs are potent. I got hazes crosses jacks whites chems crosses, the OGs are the stronger

True, but it's still not good by any standard. I had one decent plant out of over 20. That's a bad ratio. One smelled like bubblegum, the rest smelled awful. None of them really gave a great buzz but at least the bubblegum pheno didn't really suck to smoke.

New Guy here... I would suggest the White Widow...If you top her right you can yield amazing. I would also recommend Hawaiian Punch if you can find it

And by the way, Kosher Kush is an average yielder!

Now think what can be achieved with a supposedly heavy yielder! Currently have an HSO Em-Dog that was vegged for 6 weeks. She is 2 feet x 2 feet in diameter with 18- 20 tops and a few smaller branches! She is flowering under 250hps due to warmer season and closet being warmer. Topping, Supercropping, Scrogging are methods that will change your views on what a plant is capable of. I got over 4 oz's off a Kandy Kush in 2011 and I didn't top! Just LST. All under a 250! I plan on getting into the Scrog thing. From what I have seen, it is the best way to get MAX yield. Mainly in smaller spaces. By the way, I grow for personal use and those smaller wattage bulbs provide me with more than enough of Gods Natural Medicine! Something to ponder. Just my 2 cents!

I am a quadriplegic just getting into mj growing. I am 56 years old and a quad for 37 of those years. The one thing I have learned is patience. My first grow was a year. With the help of my 77 year old mother I got 3 1/2 ounces from a THC Bomb. Grew in my bathroom with Ipower 400watt hps. For reasons I can't explain at this time I put away the light and seeds. I'm back and trying to teach others to be my muscles. I wasted $200 of seeds because my new help is drunk 99% of the time And my mother watered my last seedlings with a bleach spray bottle that did look like my water bottle. 5 og kush, 5 pineapple kush, 5 sour diesel, 10 lemon skunk, 2 Amnesia haze fems - all gone. I forgive. Was a hell raiser when I was young but drank beer and stayed away from pot. Most of my friends smoked but I just did not like the smell and after taste of mj. Well I have been wating to grow my own for the last 10 years. I had 2 nieces and 2 nephews and I was persuaded by brother and sister to wait until they (kids) were out of High School. They are out. So I save up some money and ready to buy more seeds. I'm not looking for instant gratification. Probably scrog , super cropping and the works. Quantity and quality. Also variety. I hurt all over. The THC Bomb made me hurt 10x worse for 3 hours. Hope to have an 8 x 8 grow room by next month. Until then I have 6'x2'x8'h space in the bathroom. Have a skunk#! that I need to use to teach my new help (23 yo niece) how to top, crop, lst, and all. Any good links to training? Also, best place for quality cheap seeds? Look up "Uncle Bens Topping Method" and "LBH's 4 way Topping" Both are great! I purchased a book called "Secrets of the West Coast Masters" that is EXCELLENT. It shows a method of getting 2lb's off one plant under a 1000 watt bulb. I combine all the knowledge I received from those sources and my yields have EXPLODED!! Next step for me is SCROG. I just am not excited about the work required under the screen. But if you seek that elusive 1GPW, I think scrogging is the answer. Attitude Seedbank has been there for me. Only one order nabbed by feds. But was replaced and made it through. Go with the guaranteed option without the Tshirts or mugs or wallet. Remember they guarantee your order! If T H C Bomb increased your pain, what are your expectations for other strains???

Personally I don't enjoy the effects of marijuana.
But I enjoy growing it and being known for excellent smoke.
