First real indoor growgrow

So after building my grow box and dealing with the temp issue's at first, I think I've finally got it under control. I did test runs before I put my seedlings in. Had to put in an air conditioner cause of the summer temps starting early. The critical kush is loving it now. Only a little over a month old and taking off. The girl scout cookies clones are a bit slower but is say 2 more weeks and I should be able to flip them20140504_192227.jpg 20140504_192256.jpg

nice little set up. good looking plants . good job. I suggest flipping them now . because with only that one light 400 or 600 . to many plants . so flip now. I do all styles of grows . from monster 4 foot veg to a pee wee hermen 6 inch veg . put it this way. for a 600 watt light I would veg the plants 6 to 8 inches tall max and put 8 plants under each light . any taller and your yield will suffer majorly . because they may stretch 3 times the size .

ok . so if you have 10 plants 5 per light I would veg them 8 to 12 inches tall. any taller is a waste . because the light only goes 1.5 foot deep . bigger is not always better when you have as many plants as you . so veg 10 inches tall and pull 1.5 zips per plant average easy. that's 15 zips . easy ,
from my experience . and if you add co2 the more yield is added another half ounce or more . or you can veg them even taller but you will need more lighting . bigger space . to pull more yield . but less plants per light

I have 14 total but I'm gonna pull up to 3 for mothers. 1 for sure of the gsc and probably 2 of the ck. And I actually intend to run 32 total and sog or scrog it. It's 4x8x7'6 so it should be more than enough room

right . hey if your new. I suggest keeping a plant . don't flower it ever . and keep cutting clones off of it . the benefit is . you can cut foot tall clones off of it . and no need to veg at all saves a lot of time . just get them roots and flower . another benefit . you will not degrade the genetics , 3 the mother plant is good for 6 months . and if your cloneing goofs up. ow well because you can cut more . the bad the plant will get 3 to 9 feet tall . it hurts your plant numbers . it will need to be repotted into a bigger 10 or 20 gallon pot . this is a very good way to make larger amounts of product with out worrying about ordering seeds . this is the way most commercial guys do it . that's how I do it but I have 5 mommy plants . if you have the option highly rec this , in 2 months when you harvest . think about It 12 inch clones ! ready to be flowered .

for got to mention you need another room for the mommy . and it will need to be replace about 6 months because it will get tired of you cutting on it . and you can have a small 50 watt bulb on top is fine

right on. I wish I did keep one when I started . I did not know
I have a bunch of buddies who are commercial growers and work for dispensaries so they give me some pretty good pointers. I just like to find outside opinions to help me along the way
