Russia "not preparing for war."

The red army that emerged from Russia after the nazis invaded was the biggest army in human history. Russia is well rested, with maintenance up to date and a surging economy.

Fat chance.

Our land forces could obliterate theirs.

Our air force would have them blind and dumb.

Their navy would all be on the bottom in a week or two.

But in a nuclear exchange both sides lose.

This is in their back yard. We would have a hell of a time deploying enough over there to do it.

But our stuff is way better than their stuff.

yes that is true . it would take 50 or more years to control Russia . unless we use some brutal bombs . like drop a atomic bomb in the capital city . would do it . but the us would not be able to walk on the streets lol same as if Russia invaded the us . every body would be arming them self and here in Detroit Michigan the gangs are so well armed the army would be out gunned lol .

I think Russia and China would be allied in a attack on the USA, and I doubt the attack would be only military, I can imagine a day when Russia and China say fuck it and topple the US dollar by selling all their treasuries.

As far as military goes, you would think that after the longest war in our history that we would finally have Afghanistan under control, but its a lost cause there. We weren't able to win Vietnam either and we certainly had more firepower in both instances by a wide margin.

Firstly, I think in Afghanistan we only half way tried. Iraq didn't go as planned, and Afghanistan was put on the back burner.

Secondly, it's hard to accomplish what we wanted there.

It would be hard to create a state strong enough there without some how including mass opium production. While I think we were willing to turn our backs to it, we would have had to created a state apparatus around it for enough money to enable them to run what we're trying to give them.

We've set up air assets for them, planes and helicopters, the maintenance costs of which are greater than their national revenue.

Read the art of war by sun tzu and understand how to properly win a war - without fighting.

Putin is so far ahead of Obama he is coming up behind him.

There is nothing in this world that would get Obama to go to war with Russia. He is just going to talk about more sanctions.

Go fight in a war and stop acting like you know anything.

Russia would have to invade.

And then probably it would take them rolling on down to the lower 48.
