Please tell me when to pollinate ?

I have watched countless videos on YouTube and numerous web readings that explain in detail how to get to the point of dusting your buds for seeds. I want to know like what week or what should I look for to be the right time to pollinate.....? Do I wait till pistils are bronze or all clear....? A friend of mine is trying to make seeds and we have no clue. Thanks folks for any feed back............

Depending on strain. Based on flowering time. I would pollinate an 8 week strain sooner then an 11 weeker.

I typically wait about 10 days or so AFTER the formation of clusters. So roughly 20 days after the 12/12 flip. (On an 8 week strain)

Does it really matter? IMO, you can pollinate too late, but not too early. As long as there are buds to pollinate and they are still growing, that's what buds are for really.

3rd week, 35-42 days is plenty for mature seeds.

Wow! Thanks for the wake up call. I was thinking like veggies and fruit on plants and trees grew for us to consume/eat, and weed/bud as well.......... But the reality ( your right ) is that the buds are for reproducing. My thinking got a little clogged up and selfish . HeHeHe.

any time after full buds are developed is the early they can be dusted i normally pick lower branches and dust the every site on branch and then label it with string ribbon hang a paper clip anything

the late could be anytime at all i have decided to dust very late in the grow when you do this just leave the branch on with seeds and harvest the rest of the plant

seeds take about 4 weeks to mature i normally plan for 6 weeks because there is no since to have buds loaded with seeds that are imature green and small a waste

seeded buds are smokable

The bud is the fruit/flower that bares the seeds, the more 12-12 time it gets, the more it craves the pollen, that craving produces more trichomes in a desprate attempt to catch any passing pollen. That is why sensi is so potent, all trichs and no seeds.

there is absolutely no science backing up the claim that sensi is anymore or any less potent than seeded bud.

Once you have an adult in full flower She will only take two week's and try to force them out,We are talking about the Botany of desire.Survival of the fittest.I would go as far to say one week in a healthy Momma.I think Racerboy's right too, I spray alot of bud and seed or no seed it all comes up the same..Controlled strain experiment's and random killer mexican...

Unfortunately this is the only pic she had taken before coming over to here today after work. Not sure if pic is clear enough. I know this plant is very young, but what do you think as far as is it ready to begin pollinating.....?

yes can dust now dont rub it on to pistils hold over and tap what ever you use to transfer
rubbing will kill delicate pistils

sensi started when the controllers realized they could make money off seeds as well as buds, buds got bigger, smoke the seeded buds and soke the unseeded tell me in a PM later if you can tell the difference - you wont be able to

you must test everthing out for self dont take anyones word for shit not even mines

long ago was alot of knowledge here on this site now people just talk that should be listening and learning you get three different answers because two thirds are wrong

sensi does not focus energy on producing seeds so bud production gets all energy
not seed production my feelings after mucho seed production is that the percentage of thc does not alter with or without seeds trichs an thc the sme in my book check for self tll me about book dontm believe shit

buds produce pistils to get horny for pollen not trichs close to end they produce 3 to 5 out of each calyx verses two

Nice looking young girl your girlfriend has there bro! You probably should have pollinated some time ago, but she should get dusted asap...it's not too late yet. Peace
