Plants growing differently?

Ok not sure if this is a strange one or not, I have x2 plants only 3 weeks into grow
but both plants are growing totally different.

The taller one has thicker stem, other seems smaller but vegging fine leaves on show.
The taller one still seems to be growing upwards but leaves are't fanning out yet.

Growing indoor in grow tent, with 400w MH light, with extractor fan.
Watering every 3 days, just enough so runs out of bottoms of pots.

Any advice would be helpful, as not sure if this is normal or not?

Wow, same strain? Presumably different phenotypes. Never seen such an extreme example at this age! That's pretty wild. What strain?

Both are meant to be white widows, but both did have stretching problems from seedlings.
Is there anything I can do for the taller plant? Am due to repot next weekend but am willing to repot before if needed.

I wouldn't know what to tell you to do about it. Plants are known to puts their leaves up in the air like that after a good feeding so I don't know that anything is necessarily wrong, just interesting they are both on the same regiment and showing such different structure!

I started with x6 seedlings, but due to lighting probs to start with the other did't make it.
I think I will give them till next weekend, then repot them.

I don't think a repot is needed just yet. What size pots are they in now?
If anything let them grow a bit more in those pots before transplanting. Could be different phenotypes being expressed.

Pots are only 5" high pots at the moment, going to be transfered into 3.5 gallon pots.

Make sure the bottoms getting dry.. I see one piece of perlite and that's not good at all. The soils going to compact and if its not drying your going to have stunted growth at least and maybe root rot. Not sure if u knew just tryinv to help as I encountered this problem with a seed starting mix

The same thing happened to me with my Special Kush. One is taller and sativa-ish and the other is short and bushy and leans towards Indica. It happens

I've just noticed the taller one i have has slightly brown patches on the leaves.
Did your taller one open up in the end, eg the leaves relax and open up?

I ended up having to pull some leaves because they were choking each other, but it's doing well now

Yep been checking bottoms of the pots, both are drying out after watering.
Just more concerned on the taller ones leaves not opening out, both are growing ok.
But have just noticed brown patches on some leaves of the taller plant.

Dont pull any leaves give them a few days to open if they do t and u think they are suffocating them selves id get some airflow on them and try to use bread ties or something to slightly stArt lst just to get its center shoot to grow a little and hopefully u should be ok and able to remove the half ass lst once regular growth resumes. If the leaves die they die if not you saved some plant stress. Good luck and keep us I formed as this excites my curiousity

Looks almost deficient to me based on the size and quality of the soil. Kind of looks az the leaves are having canoe like shape. Ut cant tell. Top shot maybe?

Edit: cotyeladons R yellow. Repot I bet its deficiency or soil isnt getting air.

You could raise the smaller one up a bit so it's closer to the light, might help even things out a bit.

Here's a top shot of the plant and your right canoe like shape is the right word for the leaves.
You can also see slight brown patches going down veins of the bigger leaves.

Is it worth repotting both of them? or just the taller one?

Look at the cotyeladons when they yellow its time to put them in thier final soil. They cant feed themselves anymore and rely more on the soil for another week or two then you need to feed them yourselves. The round starter leaves (cotyeladons) only have about a week of food which when they yellow means its running out and that soil needs perlite anyway so repotting is best from what I see. Remember your medium pot is next with your final soil then finaln pot and soil.
