kinda reminds me of a story I heard about a coach that went to Kenya expecting to find fast track stars (thinking Kenya = Blacks = fast)
Dude didn't realize Black Americans are descendants of West Africans (whose body type lends itself to more sprinting events); whereas east Africans tend to be more distant runners...

Anyway this story both highlights the dangers of stereotyping and the fact races do indeed have physical traits which may/may not lend themselves to certain athletic advantages...

Nothing wrong with recognizing that...problem comes when you believe people are born intellectually superior and shit...

Then you go on to say that it is completely irrational to think that this same evolutionary process that causes variation in our physical abilities is not somehow applicable to the human brain?

You don't think having to survive in ice age Europe or northern Asia would somehow select for more raw intelligence than tropical grasslands where food grew in abundance for a hunter gatherer culture?

I think if natural selection works on our bones and muscles, our brains are no different.
