The Bay Area CP clones I grew outside yielded about 13oz per plant. I put them in ground the beginning of June. They were topped several times and I opened them up a little by LST. I was trying to keep them small. They ended up about 5' tall and about 5' to 6' in diameter. I harvested in early Oct. buds were extremely dense and hard. They turned purple like the previously posted pic of the the inground plant (nice plant). Potency was very high and Indica dominant. Everyone who sampled it loved it. It's a strong high that lasts for hrs. It's definitely a keeper strain.

My Cherry Pie outdoor last year was a very good yield was about 2.5lbs on a 4ft plant.
Have not had any hermies outside or in.
You can see a bud worm in the pic this was last years crop.
This is indoor at day 48 this plant also went through temps in the high 105 range for about a week before i could get a A/C and that was around week 4-5.
No hermies either.

Agreed! That does look great. Adower thanks for stopping by and schooling me and the wife on your methods. It's helping me to sort out what I want to do this summer.

I'd love to see some pics of that 4 footer that yielded 2.5lbs. Must of been nothing but a mass of buds. What was the diameter? What training techniques were involved? I need to keep my plants short any tips would be vey helpful. I know most of the basics but if you have some uncommon methods I'd like to hear them. Thanks.

Bay Cherry Pie is not a heavy yield if grown indoor, outdoor - yes. It loves light and they can go 12" from my 1000w lamp, most strains struggle at that distance with too much light. CP loves super lumens and the 6-10 hours of direct sunlight per day would be great.
Now.. I also have the Cherry Kush clone.. it does look like something with durban poison but it has NO of the real OG kush in it. I think some people are confusing Cherry Pie and Cherry Kush, names are fucked - half the shit is "KUSH" with no or little real kush DNA.
Cherry Kush has a fruity smell and taste and grows short with thin leaves like sativa. also tastes a little like Durban, strong and fruity smell and taste.

707 here is a pic of that 4ft Cherry Pie didnt take many pics of it for some reason.
It was wider then it was tall, There are two plants in this one raised bed the one of the left is the Cherry Pie.
I do not have a pic of it from afar in flower sry.
My Cherry Pie is very short and stalky so topping is the onlything i did.
You can also check out my outdoor last year might be a couple more pics.

Very nice. Both look extremely healthy. Looks like you were probably getting max direct sunlight. I was dealing with 8hrs, then down to about 6hrs. Mostly just shaded by leaves on tree so the plants were still getting some exposure. Need to find a way to get max exposure next season.
just wanted to chime in my opinion. my cut of cherry pie smells very much like gdp, but definately with durban infuence. yield a nice moderate. its not bad by any means. 1 pound per 1k sounds accurate. mine turns solid purple with night temps at 65-70. its solid purple by day 49. and yes it does have hermi tendency's EARLY in flower only indoor. first week or so indoors you can see some nuts, but they never amount to anything. i leave them on there, and after 3 runs of CP ive only found 2 seeds in the final product (when the ratio is that low they are considered gems 
) i see a lot of GDP influence in the cherry pie as the attached images will show. its a hard call i never thought id find something i liked better for personal smoke than the kens gdp which ive had for almost 5 years now. but cherry pie is very very close in every aspect. smell, taste, stone, plus it yields better than kens gdp. see images.

Just picked up some cherry pies and key lime pies someone i worked for averaged 4 lbs for the cherry pies and 2.5 for the key limes and they were thrown in late cherry pie has a real cherry doughy og smell and taste the key lime pie was spot on lime sherbet and that doughy og smell and taste both rock hard nugs trying out blueberry cookies supposed to do really well outdoors and royal purple diesel
